Mont Tremblant
Mont Tremblant is situated 90 minutes north of Montreal within the beautiful Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada. The 3 regions; the resort, the villages and St Jovite all offer enchanting year round activities that will leave you wanting to return again and again. Mont Tremblant resort has been voted number 1 ski resort in north east America for the last 13 years.

Activities
Being a year round resort, there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied, too many to list here, so as a family, we have detailed our favourites.

Ski
The mountain in winter offers in excess of 600 acres of skiing including 95 runs and 14 state of the art lifts. An Olympic standard superpipe and 9 ramps and rails help make up the 18 acres of skate parks. The runs are fantastic, the ski school is excellent, and whether you are a beginner or an expert there are enough runs to keep you occupied. Average snow fall is 382 cm (2008/09 over 600cm!) and temperatures can reach -25 deg c on summit and -10deg c in town. Overall the perfect family ski location.

Golf
The fact that Mont Tremblant can boast of 6 high quality courses all within 5 minutes driving says all you need to know. La Manitou, La Belle, La Bette, La Maitre, le Diable and Le Geant all 18 holes and all expertly managed. Le Diable offers a golf academy set in the centre of pine forests and is truly first class.

Crèche
Bilingual qualified staff provide the little ones with enough attention and activities for them to request a return. Situated near the base station, it’s convenient and well managed. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Montreal Canadiens Ice Hockey
If you can get tickets, seeing the local Canadiens ice hockey at the bell centre is truly an experience not to be missed. Can be extremely expensive, especially for merchandise and refreshments, but if you only get the chance to go once, I’d say go. The drive can be made easier by stopping out of town and getting the train direct. Go Habs go, go Habs go.

Go Ape (tree swinging)
If you want to justify a beer, spend a few hours swinging, sliding and climbing through trees at height. We completed this at night time as well which added that little bit extra to an already great activity.

Spa day
After a few days activity, what better way to heal the body then spend it at the Norwegian spa. Spas, rivers, pools and most of all relaxation aplenty. A great way to treat your body.

Swimming
Despite the cold temperatures the kids still love a swim in the indoor pool situated in the centre of the resort.

Rings
Racing down snow lanes against each other in rubber rings, fun, fun, fun.

Casino
Opened in Summer 09, still waiting to experience this exclusive destination. Watch this space.

Eating and drinking
Some fantastic bars and restaurants offering high quality food, drink and service. Don’t be afraid to wonder from the resort centre to the villages and St Jovite, the standards are as high but often the prices are not.

Festivals
The Tremblant blues and film festivals along with the end of season Telus spin festival are worth the visit alone. Nothing is better than sitting back in the vibrant village enjoying the amazing atmosphere with a beer, trust me!

Other fantastic activities you will find in Mont Tremblant include: Fishing, hiking, luge, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, ski doos, tennis and sunbathing on the beach.
